Alongside the powerful Formula 1 action, witness a host of support category racing including the thunderous V8 Supercars. There is also a wide range of entertainment around the circuit that will be sure to thrill.
The 2013 race saw Mark Webber start from the front row of the grid, but a poor start had him well back at the 1st corner. The race turned into a duel between Lotus and Ferrari as last year's dominant team, Red Bull struggled to match the early pace. Kimi Raikkonen in the Lotus never really looked in danger after the halfway mark and went on to take out the 1st race of the season from Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel. Mark Webber could only manage 6th place in another disappointing result at this home GP.

Event Tickets
The tickets included in these packages are a four day General Admission pass. These tickets allow you to enjoy the Grand Prix from a number of vantage points around the circuit and take in all of the entertainment and activities on offer!Upgrades to popular grandstands such as the Senna, Prost, Fangio, Brabham or Jones are available during the booking process and will give you a great view of all the action.
About the Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix
Dating back to 1928 when it was held at Phillip Island, this race was introduced to the FIA Formula 1 Championship in 1985 and been an integral part of the Formula 1 season each year.The Adelaide Street Circuit was home to the GP for 11 years before Melbourne poached it and moved the race to Albert Park, where it remains today.
Australian driver Lex Davison and Michael Schumacher lead the way with four victories each from greats including Jack Brabham, Alain Prost, Gerhard Berger, Ayrton Senna and now Jenson Button who have all saluted the chequered flag on multiple occasions.
Getting there
Package prices do not include flights to Melbourne. As the price of domestic flights fluctuate based on availability, we encourage you to book early. If you would like to include flights as part of your package, inquire with our team at the time of booking.Public transport is recommended when travelling to the Albert Park Circuit each day. With many options including trams, buses and taxis, these are the easiest form of getting to the big race.
