Australian Captain and Vice Captain Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke have tied for the 2008/09 Allan Border Medal.   This is Australian cricket’s ‘night of nights’ and will feature all current players, former Test captains, cricket legends plus special guest appearances and performances. Entertainment in previous years has included live performances from Stevie Nicks, Harry Connick Jnr, Brian Ferry, Delta Goodrem, Russell Crowe, Jimmy Barnes and Human Nature. Now in its eleventh year, the Allan Border Medal is considered the highest individual honour in Australian cricket and is a permanent and distinguished fixture in the Australian sporting landscape.
