2010 Cox Plate Packages
The Cox Plate is a time honoured race that has attracted the cream of horses from Australia and overseas. It is seen by the purists as our toughest race to win on weight for age scales and is known as the race where legends are made!In 2009, master trainer Bart Cummings took out the race training the 3 year old So You Think to an all the way victory over a red hot field including boom horse Whobegotyou.
Since this weight for age race’s introduction in 1922, many great horses have won this spectacle – from perhaps the greatest horse of all time, Phar Lap to Kingston Town and modern day heroes including Octagonal, Northerly, Sunline, Makybe Diva and Fields of Omagh.
