The Tattersall’s Cox Plate is part of the World Series Racing Championship, which includes thirteen races in eleven countries on four continents. It is the only southern hemisphere race to be included in the Series, which features races such as the King George and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Royal Ascot, the Breeders Cup in the United States, and the Japan and Hong Kong Cups. The Tattersall’s Cox Plate is acknowledged as one of the classic events of Australian horse racing. Inner Sanctum Marquee:

The Inner Sanctum Marquee is located in the centre of the racetrack within the Herald Sun Home Straight Enclosure. The Marquee features a celebrity tipster and you will be sure to hear all the late mail on the racing throughout the day.
