“Having had the pleasure of being a tour host for Australian Sports Tours for the ICC Cricket World Cup earlier this year, I am delighted to be returning to the West Indies for some Test Match cricket in 2008.
This will be my third tour as host for Australian Sports Tours and my experiences so far have been nothing short of amazing. The perfect blend of cricket, sightseeing and hospitality, fantastic people and expert organisation by AST ensures an experience that we will all remember fondly for years to come. I’ve met some fantastic people along the way from all over this great country of ours, made some great friends and seen other lifelong friendships formed.
I'm also eagerly anticipating the 2009 Ashes Series. The 2005 Ashes was widely acclaimed as the greatest series in the history of the game, and the 2009 Series looms as providing another memorable chapter in the sporting rivalry of these two great cricketing nations. I last toured England in 1977, and I can’t wait to get back to Lords with my AST tour group, for what will simply be an unforgettable experience for cricket fans."
