TERRY ALDERMAN

Australia's finest ever swing bowler, Terry Alderman is an Ashes legend who still holds the record for the most wickets ever taken in an Ashes Series. His domination of the English batting, timed with the fall from power of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in 1989, prompted the tabloid headline - "Thatcher Out!... LBW Alderman". Now a respected media personality "Clem's" keen cricket brain and easy going and friendly nature has proved a real hit with tour members in England and South Africa..

2005 - Ashes
2006 - South Africa

2009 - Ashes

“The 2009 Ashes will be my third tour with the Australian Sports Tours team, and having been lucky enough to be there for the 2005 series, I am very much looking forward to it. The English grounds are each unique in their own way, and have such rich Ashes history, it is little wonder that the Ashes Tour has become almost a "rite of passage" for Australian Cricket Supporters.

On a personal level, I was fortunate enough to play some of the best cricket in England, and still have fond memories of regaining the Ashes in 1989, under Allan Border's captaincy, and alongside my fellow AST tour host Merv Hughes.

In between the cricket, I can't wait to get across the channel to Europe. With Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin on the agenda - this itinerary is shaping up beautifully - just like one of my outswingers! See you there!
