Jamie Whincup has taken out the 2008 Clipsal 500 in front of a record crowd. this. After missing out on the 2007 championship by just 2 points, Jamie opened the 2008 V8 supercar season in style claiming the first round in his Ford ahead of the two Holden's of Lee Holdsworth and Cameron McConville.

Australian Sports Tours are proud to again be appointed as an Official Tour Operator of the Clipsal 500. Over the years this event has become so popular that they had to construct a new grandstand to meet the public’s demands.
