Postcard from the Galaxy

Greetings Sports Fans from aboard the magnificent Galaxy cruise liner! Simon and I are in the Mediterranean checking out this luxurious ship for our exciting upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup cruises. The ship is massive, with more creature comforts than a luxurious hotel!
Simon and I arrived in sunny Rome and caught our transfer to board the Galaxy. This process was quick and hassle free and we were in our cabins with a minimum of fuss. After our regulation safety drill, we departed for the Greek Isles full of anticipation.
The first day was spent cruising the Mediterranean. This gave Simon and myself time to fully utilise the ships outstanding facilities. We worked hard in the gym, relaxed by the pool, had some epic battles of table tennis and caught a little vanity time. I even had my hair done in the ship's fully equipped salon!
After a sumptuous five course meal in the ship's amazing "Orion" restaurant, we ventured to the Casino and retired for the night a little richer. A great night all round!
The second day saw us dock at the fascinating Greek Isle of Mykonos. We spent the day shopping and exploring the picturesque city streets and even enjoyed a swim in the sea. Evening bought on "Greek Theme Night" on board the pool deck. This was a night filled with food, fun and frolicking. Large spits of meat were cooked before our very eyes such as this beauty. With full stomachs, it was time to reinvest our winnings at the Casino. The poker tables did not disappoint with royal flush's and full house's a plenty. Time to bed down, but not before a few tasty Greek deserts!
This morning sees us dock at yet another Mediterranean paradise, the island of Rhodes. Unfortunately we must depart back for Australia here and leave the glorious Galaxy until next year for the cricket. Bring on the Caribbean!
