The goat is given significant power, then it all fades away. Hearing this I decided that we in Australia have an equivalent festival, except we call ours ‘Local Government’..."

"...eventually we got to a small town called Dorridge for another 10 minute stop - a joyous place to send any loving mother in law. Well, the train turned up 30 minutes later, but at least we were on the right train and heading off to see all the jousting and feeding of the vultures that the Mac brothers ensured us was a "must see..."

"...England were reeling at 5 for 21 with McGrath taking 5 for 11 of 9 overs. What a spell! What a rollercoaster ride! We were devastated one minute and celebrating the next and all this on the first day - could my nerves take this? Of course they could! This is what Test cricket was all about! By the end of the first day England were 7 for 92 and we were back in the hotel bar talking about the days cricket with Geoff Lawson and Damien Fleming... could it get any better?..."

"...the short trip to Lords took 45 minutes and showed us more of the Monopoly sites that we missed yesterday. I nearly had enough properties now for a hotel! We should have all collected £200 as we must have passed "GO", at least twice..."
