The Maroons proved far too good in 2010 and completed a 3 game whitewash over their NSW rivals for the first time in years.
The pain started for the Blues supporters back in May at ANZ Stadium where QLD kick started their campaign with a 28-24 hard fought victory. Game 2 moved to Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane where the trend continued and QLD destroyed NSW 34-6 to claim their 5th straight series win. NSW played a much better brand of football in Game 3 to take a good lead before QLD snatched victory in the dying minutes 23-18 to complete the series whitewash.
With sweeping changes planned to get NSW back in the hunt next year, the 2011 Series promises to be one not to miss. Our official State of Origin ticket and accommodation packages will have you there to watch all the action unfold.
