Today you will check into your hotel ahead of the opening day of the tournament tomorrow. Take your time to unwind and explore your surroundings. Tonight visit one of the cities numerous night markets, including food, fashion and souvenirs. The night markets are diverse and are a must see whilst in Hong Kong.


Friday 27th March 2009

Today is the first day of 2008 Hong Kong Rugby Sevens tournament and the beginning of the week long celebration that accompanies this world famous event. Make your way to the stadium to witness the world's best rugby nations in the opening rounds. This evening the celebrations will be in full swing. The towers and temples scattered throughout the city are illuminated at night creating a spectacular landscape that will amaze.

Action at the Hong Kong Sevens
Saturday 28th March 2009
Today you will make your way to the stadium for day two of the rugby sevens action. Hong Kong is a small place, but it lives large. Tonight head to the Jade Market, where vendors sell various shades and qualities of jade, a greenish stone that has great spiritual value to the Chinese. There are also plenty of trinkets and souvenirs at much lower prices. Or you may like to head to the entertainment precinct of SoHO. Known to locals as the "Hong Kong Theme Restaurant District", SoHo features restaurants, clubs and - of course - theme restaurants.
 
Sunday 29th March 2009
Today marks the end of the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens tournament. You will experience sevens competition at its most ferocious as the top teams battle it out to take home the cup. Tonight why not head to Kowloon to view "The Symphony of Lights". Held each evening this spectacular light and sound show truly is an unforgettable experience. 20 buildings participate in the show including Sun Hung Kai Center, Central Plaza, IFC Tower, Hopewell Center, Bank of China Tower and HSBC main building.
