The Teams From Each Country
SPAIN
The Spanish team will consist of former Hopman Cup winner and world #16 Tommy Robredo along with women’s world #31 Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez who is having her best year on the WTA Tour, winning singles titles in Bogota and Bastad. Robredo will feature in the 2009 Davis Cup final in Spain against the Czech Republic along side Rafa Nadal.
GREAT BRITIAN
Andy Murray will lead the British team. Murray a 2008 US Open runner-up, will team with 15-year-old Australian born schoolgirl Laura Robson for Great Britain in the mixed teams event. “I look forward to playing at the Hopman Cup with Laura,'' Murray said. “I’m hoping it will be good preparation for the Australian Open. “Laura is a great talent and it will be good to link up together playing for our country.''

| AUSTRALIA
Australia is to be represented by Lleyton Hewitt and world No.13 Sam Stosur, who were handed the No.1 seed for the Hopman Cup just recently. 2009 was a breakout year for Stosur who won her first tour title and reached the Semi Finals of the French Open. While Hewitt got his career back on track by breaking back into the top 20.
USA
Giant killers from 2009 US Open John Isner & Melanie Oudin team up for the USA. Isner defeated country man Andy Roddick in the US Open. His US Open performance brought his ranking to a career high #39. Melanie Oudin the world #42 ousted seeded players Elena Dementieva, Maria Sharapova and Nadia Petrova before being eliminated in the quarterfinals of her home Grand Slam.

GERMANY
Carrying the German hopes in 2010 are Sabine Lisicki & Philipp Kohlschreiber. Lisicki achieved her career high rank of #22 in 2009 and is a product of the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Lisicki returns to the Hopman Cup for the second time after appearing in 2009. Kohlschreiber the modern day journeyman of the ATP reached his highest singles ATP-ranking in 2009, when he achieved a ranking of World #22. At 2009 French Open, Kohlschreiber defeated World No. 4 Novak Djokovic.
ROMANIA
Romania is represented by Sorana Cîrstea & Victor Hănescu. Cîrstea is ranked #23 in the world. Cirstea got to the Quarter Finals of the 2009 French Open with victories over more fancied opponents Caroline Wozniacki & Jelena Jankovic. Victor Hănescu achieved his career high rank of #26 in 2009. Hanescu reached the final of the 2009 Mercedes Cup.
RUSSIA
Tennis powerhouse Russia has the services of Elena Dementieva & Igor Andreev for the 2010 Hopman Cup. Dementieva who won the 2008 Olympic Gold Medal in singles is always a crowd favorite in Australia. She is currently ranked #5 in the world. Dementieva also won the Medibank International in Sydney in 2009. Andreev is ranked #38 on the ATP tour who in 2009 reached the fourth round at both the French and Wimbledon.
