Merv has been with AST since the beginning and following his appointment onto the Australian Selection Panel has provided tour members with a great insight into the workings of the Australian Cricket Team. The former great fast bowler offers great entertainment on tour from his late night poker sessions to his charasmatic guest speaking - Merv has been a hit on many tours including the following;

KERRY O'KEEFFE
A former Australian leg spinner and now key member of the ABC Radio Commentary team, Kerry O'Keeffe played for Australia in the golden era of the 70s, and was also involved in the World Series Cricket revolution. "Skull" is a respected analyst whose entertaining observations have seen him develop a cult following in the Australian Cricket public. His regular morning briefings have been singled out by many tour members as the "highlight of the tour". Kerry has hosted the following successful AST Tours;

KEPLER WESSELS
Kepler provides a unique insight into Australian and South African cricket like no other. After opening the batting for Australia for 24 tests, he was then South Africa's first Test captain following their reinstatement to International cricket in 1991. A member of Kerry Packer's Australian World Series Cricket in the 70s, as well as Australian Rebel Tours to South Africa in the 80s, Kepler Wessels possesses a unique cricketing resume unmatched in the history of the game. An AST Legend, Kepler has so far hosted the following tours;

TERRY ALDERMAN
Australia's finest ever swing bowler, Terry Alderman is an Ashes legend who still holds the record for the most wickets ever taken in an Ashes Series. His domination of the English batting, timed with the fall from power of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in 1989, prompted the tabloid headline - "Thatcher Out!... LBW Alderman". Now a respected media personality "Clem's" keen cricket brain and easy going and friendly nature has proved a real hit with tour members in England and South Africa..
