2018 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix

Pre register now for 2018

Melbourne hosted the 1st race of the 2017 Formula One®Grand Prix season and added another classic chapter to its rich history.

In somewhat of an upset, Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel made the most of the only tyre change to build a winning gap between himself and runner up Lewis Hamilton and 3rd place Valtteri Bottas eventually winning by just under 10 seconds.

This was Ferrari's first win at Albert Park since Kimi Raikkonen's victory in 2007 and Vettel's second in Australia after winning the 2011 race with Red Bull.

Local hope Daniel Ricciardo had a nightmare race culminating in a retirement due to engine failure on lap 29.
