About this Tour

Sample the delicacies of Japan at tiny road-side stalls or Michelin-Starred restaurants enabling you to channel your inner foodie. Take the opportunity to embrace the Japanese culture by partaking in a Samurai experience in Kyoto, marvel at the magical Mount Fuji or witness firsthand the devastating consequences the atomic bomb had on the city of Hiroshima. This tour has something for everyone.
As part of the Sushi to Samurai tour, you have the choice of one 4 day Mid Tour Option giving you control of where you would like to travel between the semi-finals and bronze final and the final.

Our Mid Tour Options

Back again after the success of our 2007 Tour to France and 2015 Tour to England are our options for you to pick and choose the cities you visit during the tournament.

The idea of these options is to allow you to mix and match. It's flexible enough that you can be together in the same hotel with your friends in Tokyo or Fukuoka during the tournament but in between matches you can choose to see different parts of Japan or venture to Beijing, China. You and your roommate may want to stay in Tokyo whereas your friends on the tour may want to visit Kyoto between the quarter-finals & semi-finals. Then between the semi-finals and the final you may all want to visit Osaka together - the choice is yours!

This also means that if you have friends doing a shorter or longer tour you can take the same Mid Tour Options to catch up during the tournament.

See our Mid Tour Options section to view the itineraries for each tour.

Accommodation

You have the option to select the standard of your tour accommodation as 3 or 4 star hotels. This refers to the standard of accommodation in all parts of the itinerary except for the mid tour options. Please note, the accommodation standard for the mid tour options will be a combination of 3 & 4 star hotels regardless of the package you decide to purchase.

Our product team will be personally visiting each and every hotel to ensure the accommodation is best for our passengers.
