2025 will see the Women’s ODI World Cup in India where Australia will be defending their 2022 title and chasing an 8th World Cup! The tournament is cricket’s oldest world championship and with the women’s IPL exploding in popularity the ODI World Cup in India shapes up to be the biggest of its kind. Join us there!
Australia at the World Cup
The Australian women have an unrivalled record at the ODI World Cup. Of the 12 tournaments held since 1973 Australia have won seven World Cups and finished runners-up on two other occasions. After a clean sweep of the pool fixtures in 2022 the Aussies dominated their semi-final against the West Indies before defeating England by 71 runs in the final in Christchurch.England (4) and New Zealand (1) have also enjoyed success at previous tournaments and with the increased interest seen around the world in recent years 2025 promises to be the most exciting event yet.
Tournament Structure
The tournament will feature the top eight national teams playing in a round robin format with the top four sides qualifying for the semi-finals.Dates and venues for the tournament are still to be announced and we will have packages on sale as soon as these are confirmed.
